WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

$30 Entry Fee per Choreographer. Includes: 

Q & A on 2nd July 1-2 pm followed by

Fortnightly (compulsory) Choreographic Workshops 

1pm - 2pm 

9th July, 30th July, 13th Aug, 27 Aug,10th Sep, 24th Sep

Competition Day 1st Oct 2022 (Tickets $5) 

Auckland Girls Grammar - 10am - 11am. 

​

A panel of Judges has yet to be confirmed, but they will be experts in their field of performing arts. 

​

Winners:

Will perform that afternoon in the Junior Concert,

Plus senior winners will be invited to devise a piece for the end-of-year senior production. 

All winners will receive AAD merchandise. 

​

You can choreograph 

Solo, Duet, or Trio. 

Ballet, Contemporary, or Jazz 

Minimum 0.45min to Max 2:00min in length

Use props if you wish

​

9-11yr Divison 

You must dance in and choreograph your own piece. 

​

12+ Division

You can choose to only choreograph or include yourself as a dancer in your choreography. 

​

Only the choreography is judged NOT the dancer/s.
