REQUIREMENTS

• Registration is only open to children enrolled in our Pre School Junior Ballet, Pre Primary/Primary, Junior Jazz and Beginners Tap

• Your child must be fully enrolled for Term 3 at Auckland Academy of Dance to participate.

• Children participating in the show will be required to have their own pair of plain pink ballet shoes, jazz shoe or black sole shoes for hip hop.

• Your child will be required to attend a costume fitting approximately 2 weeks prior to the show.

• On show day you will be checking your child in at the backstage door. They will then be in the very caring hands of our teachers and parent helpers. Parents & carers will not be allowed backstage.

• ​Our show dances are taught during your child's weekly class - no additional rehearsals will be needed.

• Show registration closes on 30 August 2025. There are limited spaces available so please don't wait too long!

 

SHOW REGISTRATION FEE

Since dance is a performing art, the opportunity to perform on the stage is an important part of our program. We encourage everyone to participate even if you have just started with us, although it is not compulsory.
 

REGISTRATION FEE: $165 PER CHILD, INCLUDES

• Professional show video

• Tickets and individual photos are NOT included in this fee

The show registration fees must be paid by 15 September 2024. Cancellation of your child's registration after 15 September 2024 will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

SHOW TICKETS

Theatre tickets will go on sale from 27 October.

• Tickets will be available for purchase on Eventbrite

• Your child will not need a ticket as they will be backstage during the entire show

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

We have arranged for Auckland Sport Photography to photograph this event. They will be backstage taking posed individual photos of your child in their beautiful costume. You will have an opportunity to purchase the photos via our online gallery which will be emailed to you after the show.
