Independent Dance Educational Syllabus (IDES) is an Auckland Academy of Dance initiative developed with New Zealand and International independent dance teachers.

IDES has been developed to meet the needs as reflected in the modern world of Jazz Dance.

IDES brings the latest in Choreography and Dance Techniques and will cover Jazz levels from Pre Primary jazz to Advanced levels.

Jazz students in Junior Jazz are encouraged participate in the Junior School concert and Grade 1 Jazz and above participate in the end of year concert , also in December.
